Alliah is a qualified accountant (ACCA) with 12 years’ experience in a variety of accounting and finance disciplines with companies including JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, CommerzBank, Adecco and National Australia Group.
Highly analytical and with a structured approach to problem solving, Alliah has considerable experience in financial planning, forecasting and modelling. She sees the importance in understanding how a business operates, and appreciates that by reviewing and managing costs and processes, operations can be made more efficient.
In her most recent role with JP Morgan, Alliah worked closely with operations groups advising on operational strategy with the aim of aligning to the corporate strategy and bringing costs down consistently, year on year. Prior to that she led an outsourcing project at Deutsche and multiple change initiatives at Adecco.
Alliah’s professional experience and academic qualifications position her well to both lead and support organisations who need to restructure their operations by focusing on reducing costs and becoming more efficient.
Giving back to the local community is important to Alliah and for this reason she volunteers her finance and business skills to help local charities through her association with Cranfield Trust. She is also an active Governor for Hull College Group.
Alliah holds an MBA from Leeds Business School and a Masters in Finance from Heriot-Watt University.
