Whitecap was appointed by the WMW FE providers to assess the skills requirements across the region in the Construction, Engineering and Manufacturing, Digital and ICT and Logistics and Distribution sectors.

The Whitecap team conducted a comprehensive analysis through curriculum mapping, extensive desk research and in-depth stakeholder interviews to understand the skills shortages and challenges faced by employers. Whitecap provided actionable recommendations to address the skills gaps and also for stakeholders to collaboratively design and implement targeted interventions that align with the evolving needs of the regional economy.

“The service you provided was completely outstanding! Our brief couldn’t have been more challenging trying to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders, changing deadlines and information points from us, significant cross agency working and an unbelievably short timeframe! I was really so impressed with how well Whitecap became part of the ‘wider team’ which became essential to the successful delivery of launch.

Your approach to the project management through the weekly updates and such clear and well thought out project plans and dashboards were so helpful and really gave me confidence in the work we were doing together and also helped to provide clear focus and direction.”

I can’t thank you enough for your approach - thank you again and I really hope we get to work together again on similar activity.
