Over recent years, the OU has developed a presence in the devolved nations. Given recent and current devolution across England, the OU was keen to analyse and develop strategic options for expansion in English regions.

Given Whitecap’s regional coverage, we were appointed to undertake an analysis of opportunities and demand, with a particular focus on the current Combined Authorities. This included data analysis, as well as qualitative insights and interviews with regional decision makers. The output provided a series of proposition recommendations and market strategy options for the university.
