Hosted by Aiimi, the event is to celebrate the launch of the Milton Keynes tech ecosystem report with an evening of networking over drinks and nibbles, showcasing some exciting tech, and discussing the key findings and recommendations from the research.
Supported by Mazars, Milton Keynes College/ South Central Institute of Technology, Milton Keynes Council, Protospace, Santander, The Open University and University of Buckingham, Whitecap Consulting has been undertaking an analysis of the tech ecosystem in order to evaluate the scale of growth and emerging opportunities across the city.
Over recent months, we have undertaken detailed desk research and data analysis, and conducted interviews with over 40 key stakeholders across the city. The report identifies the key capabilities and strengths of Milton Keynes whilst also highlighting future opportunities to support the development of the tech ecosystem and the growth of the city.
We’ll answer the following questions at the event:
- How does Milton Keynes’ economy compare to other leading tech cities? And how important is tech to Milton Keynes’ economy?
- What tech subsectors exist in Milton Keynes? And how do they interact?
- What should Milton Keynes be internationally famous for from a tech perspective?
- What does Milton Keynes need to do to be successful at developing its own tech talent? And attracting new tech talent? And retaining existing tech talent?
