Whitecap in partnership with Sensor City is hosting a morning seminar on Smart Cities. Hopefully the first of many such events, Smart City North (working title) will look at the status of various smart city developments, the health of the ecosystem and try to bring clarity through discussion on what the future might look like for businesses and consumers.

The world as we know it is changing and the pace will be rapid. Powered by advances in sensor technology, the internet of things is expanding. The impact will be felt across our northern cities, by our businesses and into our homes.

Liverpool is no exception, with initiatives underway across the city that have the potential to forever change the way we work and live together.

But what are these changes? How will they affect us? When will they come online? What can we do to develop them faster and more efficiently?

This event is the first in a potential series of events that aims to bring together Smart City innovators and businesses with real challenges helping our Smart City economy to engage, share ideas and move the conversation forward to tangible outcomes.

Organised by Sensor City and Whitecap Consulting, the morning event is free to attend and will feature a range of speakers and panellists to be announced in the coming weeks.
