As Whitecap approaches its 6th anniversary in a few weeks, it’s appropriate to reflect on what we have achieved and also look ahead.

As a regional strategy consultancy with offices now in Leeds, Manchester and Milton Keynes, we have helped UK and international clients analyse, develop and implement their growth strategies; whether that is based on a 3-month or a 3-year planning horizon. We’ve worked with high growth SMEs, growing mid-caps and divisions of corporates across a range of market sectors including: Financial Services, FinTech, Technology, Consumer & Retail, Property and Higher Education.

There are several common themes across many of our clients as their businesses and markets are facing significant disruption from several factors: rapidly changing customer expectations, technology developments and digital disruption, regulatory changes and increasing competition from new and innovative market entrants; with several clients experiencing these all at the same time.

We’ll continue to work with clients with our practical and hands-on approach delivering against their needs, providing a balance of support and independent challenge to help understand and address these, and other challenges and opportunities their businesses face.

In April 2016, we expanded the senior team with three new Directors joining Whitecap, which coincided with opening two new offices: Manchester to cover the North West and Milton Keynes to cover Midlands and South. More recently we have expanded our in-house consultant team and we’ll continue to build on this over the coming months.

Over the next couple of years we’ll also continue to expand our sector and regional footprint. And we are keen to work more with Corporate Finance and PE clients, and deepen our relationships with the advisory community in the locations we operate in.

We’d like to thank everyone for all their support over the last 6 years and for the next stage of our journey. Of course, we are always keen to hear from businesses that are trying to work out their growth options and determine their future roadmap.
