Armed with a passion for the technical side of strategy, Phil is possibly best described as a strategic analyst & planner.

With over 15 years in B2B strategy and marketing across various business sectors, he has extensive experience of product development and management, market segmentation and targeting, price modelling, channel strategies, and competitor analysis and positioning.

Phil‘s ability to formulate, implement and project manage profitable business and commercial strategies has seen him work with businesses including HML (part of Skipton Building Society), Great Universal Stores, IBM, and TPLC (part of Fujitsu).

He specialised in business and marketing strategy in his MBA, Business School training (MBS and Cranfield), professional affiliations, and work experience. This has left him perfectly equipped to develop viable strategic plans, backed by solid business cases, and produce deliverable implementation plans.

Phil is currently a tutor in business strategy at the University of Essex and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Management Institute, and Association of MBAs.

In his spare time he is a keen guitarist and enjoys reading strategy and business books.
