Associate, Strategy & Organisational Change
Paul combines his psychology background with management consultancy experience to help organisations get the very best out of their people.
He has led projects helping executives in a medium-sized insurer make better decisions on growth and innovation, to engaging leadership to set strategy in a Big Six Utility, to helping a Europe-wide manufacturer adopt a revised product development process. Several of his recent engagements have focussed on creating organisation wide behaviour change as a part of new operating models. As a licensed MBTI practitioner, Paul also spends a great deal of his time working with leadership teams to help them work better together and to help them create high performance cultures.
He has worked across several sectors but particularly within insurance, health and life sciences, manufacturing and energy and utilities. He has worked as a Senior Manager in Accenture, in their Organisational Change service line, a Director in a travel based start-up and as a Partner in Oakland Consulting. His clients include household names like GlaxoSmithKline, General Motors and Zurich Global Life, plus a variety of small and medium-sized businesses in the UK, Europe, US and Japan.
With accountability for business development in his previous role, he developed service propositions and led client accounts through their full lifecycles. He was also responsible for many of the day-to-day aspects of running a fast-growing professional services business, particularly the people based processes (e.g. recruitment, resourcing, staff engagement).
In his free time, Paul enjoys family activities with his two young children, skiing, gardening and boxing for fitness and charity!
