Investment business case for UK tech firm launching in India

Covenant Technologies Ltd is a Leeds-based mobile app product design and development company. Established by CEO Rajender Kumar Noone, Covenant Tech has a vision to apply UK best practice in app development with the launch of two new app-based products in the Indian consumer market.

Over recent years the company has become established with an experienced management team and twelve app developers and testers. As party of its continued growth, Covenant Tech was seeking to raise initial equity investment to expand their business resources and launch two new products overseas.

Whitecap was asked to support Covenant Tech by clearly defining and articulating its investment proposition in a business case that effectively communicates its capabilities, commercial objectives and growth strategy to potential investors. We spent time developing a deep understanding of Covenant’s business capability and proposition, the market potential, commercial model and financial projections to support their growth strategy.

Subsequently, Covenant Tech was well positioned and ‘investment ready’ in advance of discussions with potential investors.

“Covenant Tech is a start up with a lot of potential in the Indian market, they have the right resources and capabilities to develop and deliver numerous successful app products. We were able to work with them by solidifying growth plans into a structured, and presentable investment story that could take potential investors through the Covenant Tech growth strategy in a way that was understandable and convincing.” – Neil Guilder, Financial Strategy Specialist, Whitecap Consulting.

“Whitecap’s knowledge and expertise has been fundamental in producing a compelling investment business case for Covenant. They helped shape and refine our growth strategy and worked with us to produce a business story worthy of investment. We are looking forward to our next phase of growth.” – Rajender Kumar Noone, CEO, Covenant Technologies.
